NORMAN, OK -- YORK International Corporation’s Unitary Products Group (UPG) presented its Build-A-Brochure program for dealers April 24 in New York City at the ON DEMAND Digital Printing & Publishing Strategy Conference and Exposition, a major trade event that showcases digital printing and publishing equipment, software and services.
Doug Widenmann, brand director for YORK UPG, described the program in conjunction with a presentation by Brett Knobloch, executive vice president of JG Sullivan Interactive, Inc. (JGSI), a marketing and software development firm specializing in Internet programs, site development and Print-on-Demand applications.
JGSI developed the Build-A-Brochure program to support the UPG dealer channel with effective, professional marketing materials. The program provides dealers with a cost-saving alternative to traditional print material, as product brochures can be customized online, downloaded from the Web and printed locally or e-mailed to customers.
As part of UPG’s effort to support its channel partners, the Build-A-Brochure program enables dealers to customize brochures with personalized messages, dealer information, logos and photographs and select from up-to-date marketing, sales and warranty pages. “This program provides UPG dealers with an industry first. It reduces costs because there is no need to print, store and ship large quantities of literature,” said Widenmann. “We are providing a resource that allows our customers to develop high quality brochures that are accurate, timely and targeted to their needs. This is a point of true differentiation in the highly competitive market for heating and air conditioning equipment.”
UPG is a division of YORK International Corporation, the largest independent supplier of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration products in the U.S., and a leading international supplier. The company sells products in more than 100 countries, and YORK has approximately 25,000 employees worldwide. For more information about YORK visit the company’s Web site at www.yorkupg.com.
