YORK UPG Launches New Web Site

NORMAN, OK - YORK International Corporation's Unitary Products Group (UPG) has launched a new Web site. Accessible at www.yorkupg.com, the new site represents a departure for the company from YORK's corporate Web site.

According to Andy Fracica, York brand marketing manager for UPG, UPG will continue to have a presence on the corporate site. "However, visitors to the corporate site will be linked to the new UPG site for more extensive product and dealer information specific to UPG."

Designed to meet the needs of UPG customers, dealers and engineers, the UPG site includes a number of features previously not available on the corporate site. In addition to the UPG company history and mission statement, the site features a dealer locator to help visitors locate the nearest YORK dealer within a selected radius.

Product information is extensive and includes the features and benefits of specific UPG product models. Online press releases and downloadable technical literature support this information.

Improved customer-service features include the ability to register products online and a Frequently Asked Questions section that is updated regularly and invites visitors to ask their own questions.

A links page takes visitors to compressor manufacturers, agencies, software, professional associations, contractor associations, YORK International headquarters, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Microsoft Internet Explorer. Information regarding spring and fall promotions is also available.

"The new site gives us greater control over content, keeping information up-to-date and making it brand-specific," says Fracica. "We want to provide our customers with the information they require in an easy-to-use format. With the launch of this new Web site, customers have the ability to download the latest literature from our product menu. Eventually, they will be able to place orders online and research product inventory as we continue to look for ways to make their job easier."
