Multiposition (G8C)
These compact units (31-1/2" high) employ induced combustion, reliable electronic ignition, and high-heat transfer heat exchangers. The units are factory-shipped for upflow/horizontal application and may be converted for downflow application in the field. Note: The 150 MBH input model may not be converted to the downflow position.
These furnaces are designed for residential installation in a basement, closet, alcove, attic, recreation room, or garage, and are ideal for commercial applications. All units are factory-assembled, wired, and tested to assure safe, dependable, and economical installation and operation. These units are Category I listed and may be common vented with another gas appliance as allowed by the National Fuel Gas Code.
Note: The G8C series of furnaces are now out of production, and have been replaced by the new GG8S and TG8S model families as have April 2008.
